Introducing Vouched Driver's License Verification

A New Standard in Customer Identity Verification with Renterra

We’re excited to introduce a powerful new feature designed to enhance trust, reduce fraud, and streamline operations across your rental business: Vouched Driver’s License Verification. The Vouched integration provides a seamless multi-step ID verification process. Here’s how it works:

  1. Customers are prompted to upload front and back photos of their driver’s license.
  2. They then take a real-time selfie.
  3. Vouched uses facial recognition technology to match the selfie to the license.
  4. If the match is successful, the customer’s license status is marked as “Verified” (green) in Renterra.
  5. A downloadable report is added to the profile, including all verification data.

This tool not only helps meet compliance standards but also prevents fraudulent rentals before they occur.

📣 Important Note: Renterra customers will receive 10 free verifications each month. After the allotted 10, Renterra will pass along the additional costs.

We’re excited to officially launch the Customer Portal — a powerful new tool that gives your renters secure online access to everything they need.

With the Customer Portal, your customers can:

✅ Request call-offs or rental extensions that flow directly into Renterra
✅ Reduce phone calls, emails, and manual follow-ups
✅ Enjoy a simple, online experience

In our latest release, we've enhanced the way that you can configure fees and taxes in Renterra.

What’s New?

  • Automatic Fee Application: Easily assign fees and taxes to specific customers or items.
  • Display Fees as Taxes Fees can now be displayed on contracts and invoices as a tax line item.

Customer Credit Now Available

We're excited to introduce a new Customer Credit feature that allows you to store, track, and apply customer credits to future payments. This feature streamlines the refund process and enables easier payment management. Learn more about how to create and issue a customer balance here.

Stay tuned for upcoming updates, including the ability to modify and adjust customer credits!

🗣️ Important Note: If Renterra is integrated with QuickBooks Online, a new Customer Credit ledger account has been added. If you customize your account mappings, ensure you map this new account before using the customer credit.

Enhanced Statements are now live for all Renterra users!

After working closely with many of you during beta (thanks for all the thoughtful feedback!), we’re excited to officially roll out Enhanced Statements: a powerful new way to manage customer balances and streamline collections.

The Enhanced Statements feature makes it easier to:

  • Send bulk statements to customers with outstanding invoices
  • Include full invoice history or only unpaid balances
  • Allow partial or full payments through a single secure payment link or in Renterra on the back-end
  • Automate monthly statement delivery on a schedule that works for your business

We’re excited to introduce a new Marketplace page in Renterra!

You can now find a Marketplace tab on the left-hand side of your dashboard. This page gives you an easy way to explore additional Renterra products that can be added to your account.

Currently, the Marketplace features two of our most popular add-ons:

  • Integrated Storefront – Let customers browse, quote, and book equipment online.
  • Customer Portal – Provide your customers with real-time access to their Orders, Invoices, and Rental history.

If you're already using one or both—great! Now it's easier than ever to learn about what else is available. Click Learn More on any product tile to read more, and if you're curious about adding something new, you can Request a Demo right from the page.

Introducing our new "Dispatch" Module!

Hi there,

While many of you have had beta-access to this feature (and you're feedback has been super helpful), we're super excited to broadly release our Dispatch Module to all customers!

The Dispatch feature centralizes all logistics operations by:

  1. Collecting all future deliveries and pickups in an easily accessible "Unassigned" bucket
  2. Allowing users to assign specific tickets to eligible drivers
  3. Providing options to modify delivery or pickup times directly from the interface
  4. Displaying assigned rides to the respective drivers via their mobile app, along with the scheduled times

Benefits of Dispatch

  1. Improved Scheduling: Ensures every delivery and pickup is planned and assigned, avoiding overlooked or delayed tasks
  2. Better Organization: Centralizes logistics management, making it easy to view, assign, and adjust tasks
  3. Streamlined Communication: Drivers see only their tasks on the mobile app, reducing confusion and improving efficiency.

Edit Invoices & Track Activity

We've added the ability to edit even more details on your invoices. By editing an invoice you will be able to:

  • Edit, Delete, or Add Line Items
  • Customize Invoice Details
  • Adjust Display Options

Keep track of any changes by viewing the recent activity on an invoice. This allows you to see what changes were made, when they were made, and who made them. The recent activity will also show when the invoice is sent and to whom it was sent.
