📢 Heads Up
Tax now lives on your invoices. The tax on an order is now an estimate, and each invoice uses the rate for its own billing period. If you change something on an order that affects tax after you've invoiced, you'll be asked whether to update past invoices.
See a pending tax correction? Click Edit to update the invoice, or Reject to keep it as is. If you update a paid invoice, you'll need to issue any refund or credit yourself.
🚀 New Features
Separate Delivery and Pickup Addresses
Equipment doesn't always come back from the place it was dropped off. Now your orders can show that.
Set a different pickup address from the delivery address on any order. Logistics, dispatch cards, delivery and pickup fees, and documents all use the right address for each trip.
Set it when you create a new order, or go to Edit Order > Edit Logistics. Pickup matches delivery until you change it.
💡 Improvements
-
Sale-Only Serial Items: Save serial items and slots with a sale price and no rental rates. They go straight to Sell on orders and show only as Buy on your storefront.
-
See QuickBooks Mismatches: The Sync Invoice drawer now flags differences between QuickBooks and Renterra, including invoices deleted in QuickBooks.
-
Payment Settings in Admin: Admins can now turn payment methods on and off in Admin Settings > Payments.
🛠Bug Fixes
- Fixed payment receipts sometimes sending twice
- Fixed table column settings not saving
- Fixed saved payment methods not carrying over when you merge customers
- Various fixes to Storefront page editing and search
🔜 Upcoming
-
Dispatch Fee Customization: Set delivery fees with more flexibility, including by time and geographic zone, so your charges better reflect the real cost of each trip.
-
Holiday and Store Closure Settings: Mark the days a branch is closed, so no one schedules a pickup or return when you're shut.
