This update adds Indefinite Rentals and Work Orders, our new QuickBooks Online Transactions Integration for invoice and payment syncing, and several workflow improvements that make billing, logistics, and inventory management more flexible.
🚀 New Features
Indefinite Rentals & Work Orders: You can now create rental orders and maintenance work orders without an end date.
- For rentals: turn on the Indefinite toggle in the Dates section to keep equipment out on rent and unavailable until you’re ready to close the order. Ideal for ongoing month-to-month rentals.
- For work orders: Clear the end date to keep hard-down items unavailable until closed. Indefinite work orders won’t show as overdue; dated ones show as overdue once past the end date.

QuickBooks Online Transactions Sync: Sync individual invoices and payments directly from Renterra to QBO.
- Each line item is transferred for full transaction detail and accurate reconciliation, keeping Renterra as your system of record.
- Admins can map ledger accounts, customers, and items for precise one-way sync.

Logistics Notes: Add and manage detailed delivery and pickup instructions with a new Logistics Notes section on orders. These notes display on Dispatch and in Deliveries/Pickups, where drivers can also edit them directly.

View Transfer History for Inventory: Track every move of your equipment with the new Transfer History drawer on each item’s detail page.

Send Void Invoices to Customers: After you issue a refund, the Send Invoice button appears automatically so you can share the voided invoice with refund details.

Customer Payment Terms on Quick Sale Invoices: Quick Sale invoices now automatically apply the customer’s configured payment terms instead of defaulting to one day.

Storefront Quote-Only Mode: A new "Allow Unavailable" setting in Admin > Storefront lets customers add unavailable items to the cart and create quotes regardless of availability.

Print/Download Maintenance Work Orders: Generate printable PDFs of maintenance work orders, including job summaries, item details, and totals.

“Item Number” Field for Serialized Inventory: Admins can now track serialized equipment using a dedicated Item Number field.

Include Slots in Recommended Items: You can now mark entire equipment slots, not just individual items, as recommended.

Auto-Extension for Manual Cycle Invoices: Added a checkbox to automatically extend orders when manually creating cycle bills. Checked by default if auto-extension is enabled.
🛠️ Bug Fixes

Print Sales Tax Summary PDF Display: Fixed layout issues that caused overlapping text when printing summaries with many tax locations. Reports now export and print clearly.
